I have a wide interpretation of the landscape category, including indoor scenes which have a predominant ‘horizon line’. Sometimes my landscapes are not as they might seem – a photograph which looks like an something from another part of the world all together will in reality be a magic moment I experienced in my day to day life; landscapes can be real, imagined or illusions. I produce landscape pictures in their own right but in paintings I usually find the need to add people, the scene is not complete without figures to suggest meaning or feelings.
